No. But it is recommended that the first start (or cold start) in the morning should be a 'Kick Start", thereafter after covering a minimum of 10 km you may use the e-starter

If the vehicle does not run everyday there may be starting problems. Please use only kick start if you start after a long period of non-usage.

Until the first service was done, we had some cold start issues. We were asked to use the choke, before cranking the vehicle. However, once the first service is completed, the issues disappeared.

Yes sometimes if you leave the scooter untouched for 10 to 15 days , then it might give some problem. But the problem is manageable

Yes I am facing same issue in my Activa 5g. Half of the time in a day, it has to start through cick.

No starting problems is there. As we use like this method in winter morning we use only kick starting. As because of engine was so cool in morning to avoid this starting troubles.

I have done first servicing of my activa 5g.the starting problem still arises

Yeah sometimes when not riding at least 2 days,kicking is recommended
