Q. Is KTM 390 Duke comfortable to ride in Ladakh?

Hi Nawin,There is no bike that will be comfortable all the way to Ladakh, some are made for off roads, some are naked and some are sports tourers and track bikes. You can ride in Ladakh on any of these bikes but they do come with their own issues. As per your questions, is KTM 390 Duke comfortable to ride in Ladakh, then my answer would be a Big NO. I will tell you why,1. Fuel Tank Capacity is very low, you got to refill the tank every now and then so that you do not face any problems on the roads of Ladakh, where the things might go upside down in a blink.2. KTM D390 is a complete Naked bike, it is not at all made for off roading, even though you change to appropriate tyres for your Ladakh tour, you will not be comfortable at all on an KTM 390. I am not saying that you cannot make it on 390, but it wont be as comfortable as the other bikes would be in this scenario.3. D390 demands for speed, it heats up pretty bad when you ride it in low end speeds, which you may have trouble up there. As the weather would be cold, I guess heating shouldn't be a problem but, just in case.I will list some more points once I remember them, but anyways you can ride a 390 in Ladakh but, forget about comfort on this beast, this beast is not made for a comfortable ride, this beast demands speed. Stay safe, ride safe :)If you have an option apart from KTM 390 Duke, then I would suggest go for Royal Enfield Himalayan, i found it the best bike for the Ladakh tour.
