When you stop your bike in traffic signal the engine will switch off immediately in 10 sec and then will you use the clutch with the bike in gear then it will start. It won't start in the first time when you go out of your home and bike in neutral then you have to use the self start mechanism.

Actually it will be started using either self start or kicker. When i3s is on in your bike, bike will be started by pressing clutch when it's in neutral.
