• Q. Petrol level indicator showing different if I put the bike on side stand. If I put main stand it shows different level. May I know how I can measure petrol level in the tank.?

    The fuel meter indicates the fuel level depending on the positioning of the fuel sensor in the tank. if the bike is parked with a slight lean the sensor will provide different data rather than when the bike is parked upright.

    Every bike shows petrol level more when on side stand than on main stand it's because all the petrol comes to the left side of the bike and so the petrol checking device inside petrol tank shows more petrol but when the bike is on main stand the petrol is equal Every where in the tank so the Guage reads actual reading of petrol when on main stand

    Main stand, keeps petrol level evenly in the tank, so take the level of indicator while the vehicle is on main stand. And also if the front fork oil level is low, there would be variation in the petrol level indicator.
