For urban and rural areas, the disc brakes would be better. Yes, there is a chance of skidding, but using both brakes together, reduces the chances. The braking power of the disc brake version is significantly better than the drum one and that is one thing i regret while getting my scooter. The special edition comes only in white and does not come in grey as far as i know. The red colour may get faded over time, if you are not having a covered parking. The matt finish is a not shiny finish, where as the metallic finish is shiny. In terms of long term lasting, the matt finish usually wears out quickly as compared to the glossy one.
