Thanks for asking the question.Suzuki Gixxer has same maintenance cost as any other major 150cc bikes in the segment.During free service the overall maintenance including consumables will be around 400 INR.And after free service the overall maintenance cost will increase upto 800INRSome important information about spares and when to replace.Engine oil:- Change every 4000km or as required. Mineral oil will do good job, but never stop experimenting try using different engine oil and select the best for your requirement. Also change oil filter every alternate service.Air filter:- Change as required or go by owner's manual. At every service Clean the air filter.Chain sprocket set:- They last upto 12,000km to 14,000km. If you're riding with light throttle they might even last for 20,000km. They'll cost you 1,500 INR with labour charges for replacement.Streering Cone set :- Life of the bearing cone set largely depends on the way you ride and the road on which you ride. They cost 1000INR for replacement with labour.Tyres:- Same as steering cone set, largely on road and your riding. Rear stock MRF will cost 3200INR and front around 2000INR. They can last anything between 12,000km to 30,000km. You can always experiment with tyres also.Fork oils:- Replace as required or go by user manual will cost around 1200INRBushings and wheel bearings:- As required or by user manual will cost you mere 500INR but labour charges will be more.Other regular consumables include chain lube, brake pads, rear brake shoes etc. This is all maintenance cost according to my knowledge. If you have any trouble with engine then that should be covered in Warranty. It's always advisable to go for extended warranty.

In the entire 150cc segment bikes... You will find gixxer the best... be it the performance... be it the maintainence cost or the quality of service provided... suzuki is awesome... much better than Honda and yamaha... (if compared to 150cc segment) except R15.

Gixxer parts are cheap and service costs are very less compared to others like Honda. Maintenance is easy. An Oil change, chain clean and chain l**e will cost you less than 500 INR. A Honda bike will cost you double. So thumbs up for suzuki.
