Aprilia SR 160 Variants

Yes. It comes from the front wheel. Very much irritating and attention diverting while driving. We had taken up this matter with their Service station at Kolhapur. It was blurted out that it is due to the design problem of the model. The fellow at the service station greased it. For some time the sound stopped but again it has started. It starts all of a sudden and stops on its own. Why can't the Seller/Manufacturer rectify this problem? How to get this problem addressed? We paid top dollar for the vehicle. In return this is what we get!!

I have the same problem, the squeaking sound irritates me. I even feel awkward in front of people when I'm riding. I searched everywhere google to youtube and I think its a fuel pump problem which is giving that whistling sound. Its not the brakes for sure. One more problem is the fuel gauge. Is it really Italian ?

Yes, have experienced reached almost end of throttle and best in handling but just remember if you riding with pillion behind you. Then the braking is an issue. It won't stop where you are expected as it does while solo riding. So always keep this in mind. I have experienced.

It never touches 100 kmph, i have aprilia sr 160 race, and it hardly touched 90 KMPH. Aprilia is an under performer for a 160 cc scooter.
