Kawasaki Vulcan S Variants

Vulcan has a surprisingly good maneuverability for a bike of its size and weight. I (weighing just 65 KG) can weave through City traffic without much difficulty. However, note that the maneuverability is less than that of Thunderbird and Karizma (the other two bikes that I have). Secondly, its long turning radius makes it a little difficult to take U turns. Yes, its Low ground clearance is a bit of concern in cities. You need to be extra careful when you\'re approaching Speed bumps. If your plan is to use it mostly for City commute, Vulcan may not be a good option. If you plan to use it for a mix of City and Long rides ( frequent or occasional), you can go for it. In my case, I needed to buy a Cruiser in 6 - 7 Lac Price range and Vulcan turned out to bt the best option ( Kawasaki's engines are much more refined than Harley's or Hyosung's )

I am bit dissapointed for the ground clearnce. Its very low and usually crashes on steep speed breakers and even on road damages. You need to slow down to about 10km/h for many of the speed vreakers. Aditionally as compated to sports bikes this bike is not good in shock absorption. The bike may feel heavy in traffic when bike will be running at nearly 10kmph. But after few months it gets really easy to ride it in traffic.Aditionally as to turning circumference of bike is really high (as always in chopper-cruiser bikes) it may give you difficulties in turning more than 90 degrees in the traffic.I will add one more thing here as the seat height is low, the control and balancing never gives any issue. But at the low speeds, rider's legs can feel heat from the engine.
