• Q. What do you say about tires and maintenance of Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. Is the tyres are too soft and not good for Indian roads? Is any one completed 10000 km. What is the maintenance status I mean spare parts.

Any high speed bike needs awesome quality tyres, And the Company default tyres are around 6K and 4K for both tyre replacement. Mine lasted 12K and could have run another 3K easily, But needed a Bigger even better road grip and Hence changed.

I have clocked 5500 km in my INT 650. It is a Pirelli tubeless tyre because it is spokes rim company has provide tube in it . If you upgrade to alloy just we can fit the tyre. Tyre quality is fair . My assumption is maximum 20,000 km tyre life. That too in good driving conditions without off roading activities. 4 years warranty is there so don't worry about parts company will take care.

Mine clocked 20999 kms today and still going strong. Middle marking on tyre fades out but sides grains are still showing 70% presence. Its pure riding skills. I do off-roads, on-roads, highways , leaning etc. but never loose confidence because of the soft compound of tyres. I will do another 2k-3k kms on same stock tyres and go for next set.
