YZF R15S with Anti-lock Braking system (ABS)Basically during panic braking, when you panic, and grab the brakes super fast and hard, the system intervenes with your braking and calibrates the rotation of front wheel to the rear wheel and the fluid flowing to the braking caliper pistons. This prevents the brake pads from locking the disc brakes and hence prevents the wheel from skidding or losing grip and eventually falling.

Antilock breaking system which avoids wheel locking. While breaking, both the wheels tend to spin variably., So to apply uniform breaking and avoid skid, ABS is used. It is better to have either dual channel abs..or no abs at all.
