Good question dude..variants mean different form of a same thing.eg.bike with abs and with out...car with central lock and without.standard may be a varient upon which some features added...eg.. standard bike will have carberatur ..another varient fuel injection(see other answers)..ABS us antilock braking system which makes braking power distributed to wheels so that wheels don't get locked ..rear wheel Its a safety measure.. seen in bikes above 200cc.

Standard/carb: is easy to adjust. lacks throttle responce (when compared to FI). low cost. adjustment of fuel and air mixture can be done by a s***w driver and a spanar.FI: good throtle responce, good milage, provides better mid range in rtr. Any adjustments need to be done by pros with all the instruments making it expencive for modification and maintenance.I would prefer FI as it provides both acceleration and milage

Carb varient has good throttle and produce a raw performance as compared to fi varient.Fi varient has an edge of 2-3kmpl in terms of mileage than the carb varient.Fi varient has a negligible difference than the carb version.Carb is easy to operate while fi is new technology and little bit confusing.I have purchased the carb varient nd i will recommend you to go with carb varient.
