ABS is anti braking system.Means if you want to stop your bike from 100kmph to 20kmph then your brakes dont lock continuously. It locks and leave several time so that it avoid skidding of front tyre on slippery road.It also reduce braking time and momentum so that we do not feel like flying off the seat at sudden speed change.ABS is most important for safety.

To prevent the front wheel from locking up while panic braking or hard braking. As it's only for front brake you need to be careful with the rear brake, to avoid skidding.
