The current CRF1000L has only the standard variant sold in India currently and normally it is restricted to 50 bikes a year. Although, they did start with 75 bikes when they launched in 2017. The Standard Africa Twin or the CRF1000L DCT was the only variant that made its way to India. The Adventure Sport didn't make it purely because of the seat height I am guessing which stands at a whopping 900 mm at the lowest setting compared to the Standard's 820 mm seat height. The 2020 AT's could both be made available in India next year is what I reckon since they share exactly the same seat height options and they also come with a low seat option which is 5mm higher that the current crop of AT's in the market. The current bike is around 17 lakhs on road bangalore and I have to reckon that the standard AT should be atleast 18.75 lakhs on road and the Adventure sport will be closer to the 20.5 lakh mark, this is me just shooting a number that I think will still help the bike remain competitive in the market although we will have to wait for the first Q of 2020 to truly know that! Hope this helps.
