I have tried different oils in my saluto like yamalube castrol shell motul but I found elf moto gold 20w40 as the best engine oil till date and my bike is running like a dream though it is recommended to use 10w40 in saluto.

This question will have quite a variable answer depending upon the brand's availability at different regions and states. However, I may add that it depends on the manner of riding to an extent. All engine oils serve the same purpose. If you ride sensibly, all engine oils do perform well.

I can say from my practical experience that shell advance is far better than yamalub.
