Driving consistently in economy mode (between 30 & 50 kmph).Maintaining company recommend tyre pressure (22 & 36 PSI in front & rear tyres). Check at least twice a week.Proper cleaning of oil filter, air filter, changing engine oil during service or after each 4000 km covered.Pressure washing the vehicle at least once a month to wash out clogged mud, dust & greasy dust so that the engine can perform at its best.Reduced usage of brakes as far as possible. Gradual increase of speed rather than speeding up like a racing bike.

First priority is a regular scheduled servicing, second is a correct tyre pressure of 22psi in the front tyre and 28 psi in the rear for single riding. For pillion riding the rear pressure is 36psi.With underinflated tyres we increase the average fuel consumption by more throttle opening for acceleration.Even with correctly inflated tyres an abrupt throttle opening also increases the average fuel consumption. Finally exceeding 50-60 kmph also reduces fuel economy.
