Bajaj Avenger is considered to be a "Cruising bike/cruiser bike". Its almost like an old technology. Have U ever seen a kick starter in any of the high class cruising bike like Harley Davidson, Indiana Motors etc? No, Its simply because it looks odd and you wont be using it for 99%. Long bike, a cruiser bike, short in height and still you would prefer kick start it goint front on the fuel tank? I'd say Nah!!

Most experts out here have no experience of riding bike in difficult places. Trust me you will pray that you had a kick starter, when you have dead battery in a cold morning in Ladakh and nearest battery shop is 2hrs away.Try pushing and starting bike in icy and snow.

No normally without kick shows what like a hyper cruise bike so i think that the reason bajaj is not installing kick start in 220

They want this bike for a very special category people who can maintain should own this bike not those who cant maintain any ways this bike doesn't need lot of maintenance not adding a kick avoids s****d riders

According to them battery power and dual spark is enough for self start without kick. But definitely I also faced issue while battery was dead and i dragged it to nearest machanic to change the battery.
