Q8 e-tron Key Highlights

Features: The Q8 e-tron gets a dual-screen setup with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment and an 8.6-inch screen placed beneath the bigger one for climate control functionality. Other features include a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, ambient lighting, panoramic glass roof, four-zone climate control (optional), heads-up display, and ventilated seats with massage function. Its safety net includes multiple airbags and a bunch of ADAS systems.

Motor: Both the e-tron 50 and e-tron 55, get a dual-motor setup delivering power to all four wheels. While the e-tron 50 gets its charge from a 89kWh battery pack, the latter is fed using a 106kWh pack. The former has an output of 339PS/664Nm, while the 55 variant gets a more powerful output of 408PS/664Nm. The top-spec e-tron S trim, sold in international markets, gets a 106kWh battery pack as well, but it sends charge to three electric motors sending power to all four wheels and producing 503PS and 973 Nm. All mentioned power figures are in boost mode. It has a WLTP-claimed range of up to 600km depending on the variant selected.

Rivals: The flagship electric Audi takes the fight to the BMW iX, Volvo EX90, Mercedes EQC and Jaguar I-Pace.

Average EV but a bit overpriced

In my opinion i would say that this car is a pretty average car. I have driven this car for around 4-5 months now and according to me this car is a bit overpriced as per its performance. First of all this car takes a lot time to fully charge about 10-12 hours. But thats not the bad part, the thing is it travels very less range approx 491 km with a full charge which is dissapointing for me.

Different and modern look

It features an all wheel drive system that improved driving dynamics and a very quiet ride. Along with a gorgeous interior and comfortable seating it accelerates smoothly and offers a high degree of stability. This elegant electric vehicle has a distinctive look and a modern style which making it a pleasure to drive on long distances. This electric car has very high end technology and delivers powerful performance. Excellent fitting and finishing quality are combined with well considered spacing. The red car is just wow but price does not justify the features.

stylish electric SUV

For those interested in purchasing high-end vehicles with futuristic designs and functions, the audi Q8 e-tron is a perfect choice. It ranges from 1.5-2 crores. It is an electric vehicle with automatic transmission. It has a regular flat roof structure and overall the exterior is marvellous. The interior is cosy, comfortable and beautiful as well. The premium features of this car provide a luxurious experience. I have the black colour of this model which looks quite lavish.

My Greener Drive Through the Nilgiris

Switching over to an electric vehicle, I opted for the Audi Q8 e tron and took it for a beautiful drive across the Nilgiri Hills. The e tron with its near silent ride, added a layer of soothing to the scenic beauty. Boasting dual electric motors, the e-tron delivers a combined output of about 402 horsepower makes uphill drives quite easy and enjoyable.The transition from a fuel based vehicle to an EV was smooth, particularly with features like regenerative braking which is quite impressive.
