Features: Land Rover packs the Range Rover SUV with a 13.1-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system with over-the-air-updates, a Meridian sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Alexa connected car tech, a 13.7-inch digital driver’s display, a wireless phone charger, four-zone climate control, and a PM2.5 filter. The Range Rover also gets adaptive air suspension, all-wheel steering, and active anti-roll bars for a more comfortable ride.

Engine: Land Rover offers the 2022 Range Rover with three engine options: a 350PS/700Nm 3-litre diesel (D350), a 400PS/550Nm 3-litre turbo-petrol (P400) and a BMW-sourced 540PS/750Nm 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 (P350) unit. The 3-litre units get mild hybrid tech. All engines come paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drivetrain. Talking performance, the SUV is capable of going from standstill to 100kmph within 6.3 seconds (D350), 5.9 seconds (P400) and in 4.7 seconds (P350).

Rivals: The 2022 SUV takes on the likes of the Bentley Bentayga, Mercedes-Maybach GLS, and Rolls Royce Cullinan.

Variants: The 2022 Range Rover comes in three board trims: SE, HSE, Autobiography and First Edition. All four are available in standard- and long-wheelbase options and come as 4-, 5-, and 7-seaters.

The Land Rover Range Rover’s prices have been slashed by up to Rs 56 lakh. The reason for this is the fact that the 3-litre petrol LWB Autobiography and the 3-litre LWB HSE variants of the Range Rover are assembled locally, instead of being completely imported. Deliveries for the locally manufactured Range Rover are already underway.
