Ciaz Key Highlights

Features: Highlights include a SmartPlay infotainment system, cruise control, LED headlamps, leather upholstery, keyless entry, rear AC vents, and auto headlamps. Some safety kit on offer are dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP with hill-hold, reverse parking sensors and camera.

Engine: Since the 1.5-litre diesel has been discontinued, the Ciaz is only available with a 105PS 1.5-litre K15B engine which is BS6-compliant. This engine puts out 138Nm of maximum torque and is hooked to a smart hybrid system. Sending power to the front wheels is a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox. Boot space for the Ciaz is rated at 510 litres.

Rivals: Rivals include the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia.

Variants: Maruti Suzuki offers the Ciaz in four trims: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. The sedan comes in seven body shades: Celestial Blue, Opulent Red, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Pearl Arctic White, Midnight Black and Prime Dignity Brown. There are also three dual tone shades: Grey, Red, Brown – with a Black roof.

Maruti has updated the Ciaz with additional standard safety features and three dual-tone colours (in the top-spec Alpha trim). These updates come at no extra cost, however, you'll have to pay Rs 16,000 more if you pick the dual tone colour options in the top-spec Alpha trim.
