Q. How many month waiting of Kia Sonet after booking?

@ Ramdevswitchgear | Bc very bad service from advitha kia They make us to come show room 3times a week... After payment today is 5th day but we dint get the car What colour we had choose that was changed saying tht it wil take one more month to dilveryNo call response properlyIll never suggest any one to take kia that to from advitha kia

At the time of booking, I was assured for a delivery within 6-7 weeks of period. After 87 days of booking, no one has ready to a satisfactory reply of such delay. Contacted their call Centre, mailed at k******s@kiamotorsindia.in and also their higher offices but all were found busy in booking only saying again a lie for assured delivery in the committed waiting period. No RTI is applicable on these lairs. PMO also can do nothing on such companies. For someone a vehicle may be a luxury but for me its a need for day to day life. Really, I am tired of waiting with nuisance reply from KIA/dealer

They told me that delivery will take one more month. I patiently said ok, I’ll wait. Now I got a news that there will be a price hike in January and it will also be applicable for the previous bookings which will be delivered late as expected in 2021 (late as Kia’s fault). It’s so pathetic!! Like, we have to bear the extra waiting period and now we will be charged with extra 15-25k+. We are wasting our time and money. Kia is trying to make us fool here. I’m seriously thinking of cancelling my booking.

@ Ankur | People who are looking to buy Kia cars, I want to suggest you one thing. Please avoid booking any Kia car at least for few more months. Most of us here have crossed our waiting periods long back and still didn’t get our cars. This is a pathetic service just before the car delivery and now I don’t even want to imagine the service post delivery. You better go with Nexon or any other car or wait for few more months till Kia’s sale drops. Otherwise get ready to get disappointed and frustrated!!!

@ Sibaprasad | You are right. I booked Sonet HTX 1.5D on 27th Sep.2020.in SVM KIa, Chennai. Dealer assured me 6-8 weeks for delivery. But still there is no proper feedback on delivery from Dealer. Only one answer we are waiting from Factory. I really fed up. I think Kia is making intentionally delay to apply the new rates. This is very very bad experience with Kia. They have say clearly that we cannot make delivery. So that we can go for some other car. Now every car have rate increase. Did Kia will compensate additional cost ?

@ Sameer | This is very true. Same experience with me. After booking HTX variant last month, the dealership now says the waiting period is upto 12 weeks. They are asking me to opt for top end varients which is available within few weeks.

@ Rahat | Kia is very smartly upselling, dealers book the variants of customer choice but after promised delivery time they push the customer to buy GT line or htx+ which are really highly priced Dealerships give illogical replies that plant is sending only top end variants many customers accepts the offer also surprisingly some have upgraded to even Seltos dealership and kia both are enjoying great profits and the customers are at recieving end bearing harassment

@ Dr | I made booking of Kia Sonet HTX plus IMT DT on 30 Dec 2020 at Jayanti motors, Lajpat Nagar, Delhi. Sales man assured 6-7 weeks. I called after 8 weeks but no satisfactory response, it’s 10 weeks over ( 10 March) but no allocation has been done . They didn’t inform anything to me. Then I started calling up leader, sales incharge, showroom incharge. But no satisfactory answer and no clue when can I have my car. In the anticipation I sold my car at 8th weeks. I booked car to avail LTC cash voucher scheme by at the end of the day I have no car , I lost my govt scheme benifit and unfortunately sold my old car too. It’s hopeless dealing of Kia and it’s dealer.

@ meet | No. Everytime they have a new expected date. But the vehicle doesn't come. I'm tired of waiting. Also the vehicle is really needed at home now.

@ Avtar | Is it Nagole branch? I have booked mine for October 17 and still didn't received it. Now they promised for December 10-15, hopefully will get it (0nly 1% chance I expect after reading many reviews)

HTX and HTX+ are in demand and plant is not sending those vehicle. They offered me other colors. The dealer says now that, manufacturing will be stopped in the month of December. I will get the vehicle in 2021:(

@ Shylendh | I have booked htk+ petrol 1.2 black color on 13th of October and still no positive response from Kia kochi showroom. They told me that I can expect in 2 months but when I tried doing a followup they said its not yet allocated ..I guess kia is giving fake promises to customer and just trying to meet their booking targets. If I don't hear from them I am going to back off and would go for nexon or EcoSport. Really disappointed.

@ Nikunj | Did you got the car ? I too booked HTX Model from Kondapur branch on 9th October and they promised yesterday to deliver me today i.e. 21st Dec but today morning they said it will be further delayed by 4 weeks.

I booked my sonet htx diesel on 2nd of november.And today I received a mail stating that the delivery of car may take 7 more weeks.And whenever I call my dealer he assure the delivery within 10 days.I am really tired of waiting..All the excitement of purchasing a new car have gone away.

And then getting daily updates .. its allocated.. its in transit.. its going to be thr next week..... (beleiving tht i sold my existing car off)... but, as of today 14 Jan 2021.. i ve no update when the 'next week' will come.. And as you all guys may have done.. sent VOC mail to KIA customer service... usual reply 'we apologize for delay.. you ll get your car soon' .. but, still don't know .. when tht 'soon' will come..If anyone can suggest some astrologers.. it ll be highly appreciated.(BTB... i went on to buy a new i10.. by last of week of Dec... ultimately, there is a limit to take the wrath from spouse :) )

@ Hari | I am having the same experience with SVM Kia. Booked car on 6th Jan... committed time 6-7 weeks from the dealer... Kia call center guys were saying minimum waiting period is 14-15 weeks... decided to go with Nexon and booked the car... pls don't go with Kia...

I was assured delivery on 16th December 2020 but as of today 4th Feb 2021 they have nothing to say and yet if you call as a new customer they assure you 8 -10 weeks delivery. Is there noone who can give a more clear picture of wth is going on? And if this is whats happening before even getting the car I wonder what kind of service they will proved after sales.. im so conflicted .. whether to wait or move on.Do we as customers don't deserve even a proper reply? Can kia not even be bothered to explain the delay and the tentative date or time line for us to expect rather than people who have paid hard earned money in advance to need to keep visiting their showroom for a reply only to return home even more confused and disappointed?
