• Q. I am using Kia Sonet from last 6 months. I have driven car nearly 3000km but till now it gives only 17 to 18 km mileage even when driven without AC and with cruise control only in speed of 75km per hour so why it gives only low mileage compare to others?

The claimed ARAI mileage of the Sonet Petrol Manual is 18.4 Kmpl and the Sonet Diesel Manual is 24.1 Kmpl. In automatic, the claimed ARAI mileage of Sonet Petrol is 18.3 Kmpl and for the Sonet Diesel is 24.1 Kmpl. In order to get better fuel efficiency returns from your car, there are some points that you can keep in mind while riding such as keeping a check on tyre air pressure, timely service your car, maintain proper gear to RPM ratio, do not accelerate the bike unnecessarily, ride your car at economical speeds, etc.
