Q. I recently purchased an xuv500 w8 2015 model, 1,90,000 kms driven. But it is creating some problem, yesterday it’s water pump was not working (The machine which helps in circulation of coolant in engine). So should I resale it or use it. As Now i’m scared that it will cost me a lot to maintain this vehicle. I need some opinions.

Why do you want to sell it just because water pump is not working ? BTW, you would have paid a hefty price to buy it right ? You can have it repaired and use it further.....On the maintenance part, please check from the seller as to when the Brake shoe for all wheels, tyres for all wheels were replaced, get the service history from Mahindra showroom and make an assessment on what could be your maintenance cost going forward. Generally Brake-shoe replacement is for every 35k kms, Tyres for every 60K kms and so on...

Hi, I would suggest since the car is still in the warranty period thus there might be some issues where the service center will get these issues resolved. Also, if these issues arise in another 6 months again you should better look to sell the car. Since this has been driven for too many kms. Thanks
