• Q. I'm planning to buy Nexon but I'm confused between petrol and diesel. I take my car out only on weekends and occasional trips also, can someone tell me how much mileage can I expect in petrol variant in Bangalore City traffic?

Selecting the right fuel type depends on your utility and average running of the car. If you drive less then 50km in a day then we recommend you to go with a petrol car as they are easy to maintain, have a longer life span and they cost less initially then the diesel car. On the other hand, diesel cars are preferred if the average daily run is more than 50km which makes it feasible purchase. The diesel cars are more fuel efficient and provide more torque, therefore, are preferred for a person who drives more than 50km. Whereas, petrol engine has a low service cost, more life span, generally have a well-controlled NVH level and are cheaper in cost than the diesel engines. As for the Nexon petrol's mileage, you may expect it to be around 17kmpl in the city, however, it may vary depending on the driving conditions. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

Thanks for your answer. I took the test drive and it was awesome. but could you please let me know if it's worth purchasing Tata cars as many in my family suggest Maruti Suzuki because of its low maintenance and service network. but what I have learnt is that Tata has improved a lot.. could you please provide your opinion.
