I believe it depends upon how you are driving the car. My polo GT TSI is currently giving me an average of around 12-13 and i have driven it only in ‘D’ : Drive mode and not in ‘S’ :Sports mode in city till now and only one service of my car is done. What I came to know from service Center is that the average which i am getting is awesome because GT TSI generally does not give this much average and remains under 9 or so.I am not sure about GT’s Highway average

The mileage of Volkswagen Polo is 18.24 Kmpl. This is the claimed ARAI mileage for all the variants of Polo. Moreover, the Polo managed to return 17.21kmpl on the highway test and 15.16kmpl in the city. Check out the Volkswagen Polo 1.0 TSI: Road Test Review for more details.
