The 1.0-litre MPI engine of Volkswagen Polo has been upgraded to meet BS6 emission norms and produces 72PS and 96Nm. It comes paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. If you prefer calm driving traits and a no-nonsense city car, then you may opt for the aforementioned engine. On the other hand, if you want a fun to drive hatchback a powerful engine then the 110PS 1.0-litre TSI engine would be a better pick. For a better understanding of performance and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test drive. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

I think according to VW the power of 1.0MPI engine is actually the same like the 1.2MPI engine. I have driven this car with total 2 people in car and to me it seemed okay although more power would have been better because Polo is heavy car and its built quality is better then any other car.But yeah if you want to have more power then GT TSI is there but off course with more price.
