    No, there's no noticable difference in mileage in both the modes while you are driving in the city traffic, but the power drops in eco mode. Even on the highway if you don't push the accelerator hard, you get almost the same mileage even in the city mode, there's a marginal difference of .03 to .05 kmpl after driving 10kms approximately. So drive in the city mode but don't push the accelerator hard.

    Yes, Eco mode is tuned in such a way that it offers better mileage and lower power output.
