Q. My budget is 10 lakhs and I am confused between Nexon XM Diesel and Nexon XZ Petrol which should i go for with respect to features .. future resale value.

Selecting between a petrol and a diesel engine would depend on your daily/monthly running of the car. If your daily/monthly driving is more than 50KM/1500KM, then the diesel engine would be a better option, whereas, if it is less, then you may opt for the petrol engine. As for the features, the XZ variant gets more features compared to the XM variant of Tata Nexon. It gets features like 6.5-inch touchscreen ConnectNext infotainment system, rearview camera with display, height-adjustable front seatbelts, etc. Lastly, the resale value of any vehicle would depend on certain factors such as kilometres driven, physical condition of the vehicle, year of registration, etc. thus. it would not be fair to compare the resale value.
