The Hyundai Exter was launched in India on July 10, 2023. It was initially scheduled to be launched in August 2023, but was brought forward by a few weeks. The Exter is a subcompact SUV that competes with the likes of the Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Ignis, and Mahindra KUV100. It is powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine that produces 82 bhp and 114 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.The Exter is available in 5 variants: EX, MX, SX, SX Opt, and SX Opt Connect. The prices start at Rs. 6.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
