Yes... both cars are similar in terms of looks, performance and mileage. I drive a 2017 VW Vento 1.6 MPI petrol manual variant. If driven under 60 kmpl in an economic way it gives me about 22 kmpl which is a good figure for a car of its size and under normal conditions i get around 12-15 kmpl. The diesel should give much more mileage but I'm not sure about the automatic variant though.

On an average I get about 12-16kmpl. Diesel should give much more mielage but im not sure about the automatic variant.

Both cars are equal in performance, mileage and safety. If understated elegance is what you want my pick for you is the VW vento. Or if you want sport and edgy looks the skoda rapid sits you.
