Hyundai India is all set to launch the 2024 Alcazar facelift on our shores tomorrow. The Korean marque has already revealed the vehicle in full ahead of its introduction. Pre-launch bookings are underway and you can get the facelifted Alcazar in four broad trims and two engine options. If you had your eyes set on the 2024 Alcazar facelift, then here are 5 things you need to know ahead of its launch.
With this update, Hyundai has managed to distinguish the Alcazar from its donor car, the Creta. The pre-facelift version of both the cars used to look similar, especially at the front.
Keeping up with the modern trends, the 2024 Alcazar facelift gets a connected LED DRL setup with H-shaped insignia. Right below it a massive rectangular grille, flanked by a pair of boxy LED headlights. The bumper gets a chunky silver skid plate, giving it a dash of ruggedness, which is further accentuated by its roof rails as well.

In profile, no major changes have been made, except for the new 18-inch alloys that look sporty. The rear-end now features new connected LED tail lamps, which form a ‘H’ and a revised bumper. The overall look of the facelifted Alcazar now looks like an amalgam of the Creta and the Palisade SUV sold abroad.
Inside, the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar gets the same dashboard layout as the Creta facelift, albeit in a brown and dark blue colour scheme. Compared to the outgoing Alcazar it now looks a whole lot more premium with the dual integrated screens and touch controls for the dual-zone climate control. Like the pre-facelift Alcazar, you can have the updated model either as a 7-seater or a 6-seater. It also gets plentiful features, which is what we’ll be talking about next.
In terms of features, the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift gets a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, two wireless phone chargers (for front and second row), ventilated front and rear seats (six-seater only), a panoramic sunroof, powered front seats with memory function for the driver and a Bose sound system.

Safety is taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors with a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system and Level-2 ADAS.
No changes have been made underneath the hood, meaning the Alcazar facelift will continue with its 160 PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 116 PS 1.5-litre diesel engine options. A 6-speed manual will come as standard, while automatic options include a 6-speed torque converter for the diesel and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic for the turbo-petrol.
Considering the number of upgrades, one can expect the Alcazar facelift to command a premium over the outgoing model, which was priced from Rs 16.77 lakh onwards (ex-showroom). It will renew its rivalry with the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV700 6- and 7-seater.
