Hungarian two-wheeler manufacturer Keeway made its debut in India in May 2022, and offers seven products in its portfolio, ranging from a retro scooter like the Sixties 300i, cruiser like the K-Light 250V and even a supersport, the K300 R.
Keeway is one of the few two-wheeler manufacturers who will be in attendance at the Auto Expo 2023, slated to begin from January 11. Wondering what the Chinese-Hungarian marque will offer in India? Well, here’s everything you need to know.
The Keeway SR 250 is expected to break cover at this year’s Auto Expo, and will complete the brand’s lineup as originally planned. This bike will get a similar retro scrambler-ish design as the smaller SR 125 and is expected to rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and TVS Ronin. Head here for the expected pricing of the SR 250.
Apart from the 250cc scrambler, we do not expect Keeway to launch any new bikes; however, the bikemaker could also be showcasing a range of eye-candies from its big international lineup like the Benda LFP 700. Given the popularity of small-capacity adventure bikes in India, we could also expect the Keeway TX200 to be showcased.
The Benda LFP 700 can be rebadged and sold in India, like the V302C, and it looks unlike anything we've ever seen in the Indian middleweight cruiser segment. It could certainly be a great option for those who are looking for a swankier rival to the soon-to-be-launched Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.
With the majority of two-wheeler manufacturers giving this expo a miss, Keeway has quite a platform to leave its mark at this event, as showcasing its international lineup will help the brand gauge customer interest.
