Suzuki recently launched the updated Access 125 at Auto Expo 2025. It gets updated styling along with added features to make it more appealing to the Indian buyers. With all the updates, the new Access 125 has made its case stronger against the TVS Jupiter 125. Let's see how these family scooters compete against each other.

Design

In terms of styling, the new Suzuki Access 125 offers a perfect blend of retro modern design. It gets updated body panels to make it look more appealing than before. The Access 125 also gets some added chrome elements to make it look a bit more premium.

The TVS Jupiter 125 retains the conventional scooter design with some added flair to make it stand out. Its smooth lines and overall design makes it look quite interesting. The Jupiter 125 too, gets chrome elements that makes it look more premium.

Performance

The Suzuki Access 125 uses a 124cc air-cooled, single cylinder engine that makes 8.4PS and 10.2Nm. For 2025, Suzuki has updated this engine to comply with OBD-2B regulations. The Access 125 has been known for providing the customers with a perfect balance between performance, efficiency, and comfort.

The TVS Jupiter 125 uses a 124.8cc air-cooled, single cylinder engine which produces 8.2PS and 10.5Nm. This engine makes slightly less power than the Access 125 but makes more torque. Both of these scooters get a CVT transmission.

That said, the previous generation Access was beat the Jupiter 125 in terms of outright acceleration in our real-world tests. That could stand to change since the new Access makes less power and torque than before.

ZigSays

Both of these scooters are strong competitors. They offer attractive styling along with a feature-loaded package which makes them quite tempting. The Suzuki Access 125, with its new update, not only looks fresh, but it also gets more useful features to boast about.

The lower variants of the Jupiter 125  offer great styling along with some useful set of features. However, the SmartXonnect variant offers a bit more hi-tech instrument console and completes the whole package while still costing less than the Access 125.

Suzuki has been known to offer a consistent service experience but the brand is still in the process of expanding its service network to more areas. TVS has a well-spread service network already in place, however the service experience has been reportedly inconsistent.

The Jupiter 125 has one of the most comfortable rides in its segment, and so did the previous generations of the Access. We expect the same from the new Access but we will reserve our judgement till we get to ride in the real world.
