These Two-wheelers at Auto Expo 2025 may not come to India anytime soon. But here’s to some wishful thinking

Auto Expo 2025 has been pretty exciting for the two-wheeler enthusiasts. Not for the bikes and scooters that were launched in India, but for those that were just showcased on the floor. These latter set of two-wheelers might not ever make it to India soon, or ever. However, a little wishful thinking never hurts anybody, right? So here are 5 two-wheelers showcased at the expo, that we wish would launch in India:

TVS RTSx

TVS showcased the TVS RTSx concept at Auto Expo 2025. The RTSx is a supermoto style motorcycle with 17-inch wheels and road tyres at both ends. TVS has given it the new RT-XD4 300cc motor. This liquid-cooled 300cc single cylinder engine produces 35PS and 28.5Nm. While the RTSx is just a concept motorcycle for now, TVS has brought its concepts to life in the past. This makes us wish they would do the same eventually for the RTSx, especially considering the budding interest for supermoto bikes in India.

tenere 700

Yamaha Tenere 700

The Yamaha Tenere 700 has been a very successful product for the brand internationally for everything it does so well.  Its showcase at the expo further strengthened the expectations of the Indian enthusiasts about its launch. Though alas, it seems like Yamaha India has no immediate plans to bring it to our shores any time soon. The Tenere 700 gets a 689cc parallel-twin motor with 71PS and 66Nm. This motorcycle comes equipped with fully-adjustable KYB long-travel suspension at front and rear. The Tenere 700 also gets 21-inch front and 18-inch rear, spoked wheels along with an impressive 239mm ground clearance. This makes the Yamaha Tenere 700 quite a strong contender in its segment.

Nmax 155

Yamaha Nmax 155

The Yamaha Nmax 155 is a family-oriented maxi-scooter which shares its underpinnings with the Yamaha Aerox 155. The Nmax gets a pretty subtle styling as compared to the Aerox, and is oriented for a more relaxed and easy riding experience. It gets the same engine as the Aerox 155 – a liquid cooled 155cc single-cylinder engine which produces 15PS and 13.9Nm. The Yamaha Nmax 155 was only showcased at the Auto Expo 2025 but no word yet about its launch.

TVS Jupiter CNG

After the launch of the world’s first CNG motorcycle, we got to see the world’s first CNG scooter concept at Auto Expo 2025. The TVS Jupiter CNG gets a 125cc engine which makes 7.1PS and 9.4Nm. It features a 2-litre petrol tank and a 1.4kg CNG tank. TVS claims a combined range of 226km for the Jupiter CNG. Other key features include all LED lights, semi-digital instrument cluster, and more. Although the TVS Jupiter CNG appears to be production ready, it may take a while for TVS to launch it.

xmr 250

Hero Karizma XMR 250

The Hero Karizma XMR 250 was unveiled back at EICMA 2024, and was showcased again at Auto Expo 2025. The XMR 250 gets a 250cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with 30PS and 25Nm. The XMR 250 is a supersport motorcycle with a proper full fairing. The good news here is that Hero has confirmed the launch of the Karizma 250 later, which makes us really excited for the next iteration of the bike.
