You Can Put Your Name Down For The Tata Tiago CNG And Tigor CNG, Bookings Open

• Tata Tiago and Tigor CNG AMT bookings open for Rs 21,000. 
• Tiago CNG AMT comes in three trims: XTA, XZA+ and XZA NRG. 
• Tigor CNG AMT will be offered in the XZA and XZA+ variants. 
• 1.2-litre engine to be teamed with a 5-speed AMT. 
• Launch is expected to happen in the coming days. 

Tata Motors has opened bookings for the Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG automatic variants ahead of their imminent launch. Both these CNG cars will be the first in the country to come packing with an automatic transmission. Interested customers can reserve them either online or at your closest Tata dealership for a token amount of Rs 21,000. 

Along with that, Tata Motors has also revealed the variants that will be offered with the 5-speed AMT. You can check it out in this table below:

The biggest talking point here is the pairing of the 5-speed AMT, which will be teamed with the 1.2-litre engine developing 73.5 PS and 95 Nm in CNG mode. Along with the AMT, you can buy these cars with the 5-speed manual as well. Another highlight of Tata CNG cars is their twin-cylinder tech, freeing up boot space.

As for the price, you can expect the AMT CNG cars to command a premium of around Rs 60,000 over their respective manual variants. The Tiago CNG is currently priced from Rs 6.55 lakh, while the Tigor CNG costs from Rs 7.8 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). 

Tata’s CNG hatch locks horns with the Maruti Suzuki Celerio CNG, Wagon R CNG and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG. The Tigor CNG, on the other hand, goes up against the Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG and Hyundai Aura CNG.
