2,000 Customers Get Keys To Their Tiago EV As Tata Begins Deliveries

• First batch of 2,000 Tiago EV units, from over 20,000 pre-orders, delivered to customers.

• Tiago EV comes with two battery pack options: 19kWh and 24kWh

• Offers a maximum claimed range of 315km.

• Introductory prices range between Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 11.79 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata has delivered the first batch of the Tiago EV to 2,000 customers in 133 cities throughout India. Tata’s smallest EV in the stable got off to a galloping start as it garnered over 10,000 bookings on the first day of opening the order books.

Given the great response, its introductory price ranging between Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 11.79 lakh (ex-showroom), which was initially limited to only the first 10,000 customers, was then extended for another 10,000 orders. While those prices won't be applicable anymore, Tata is yet to reveal the updated price list for the electric hatchback.

The battery options for the Tiago EV include a 19.2kWh and 24kWh pack. The latter of the two is paired with a 75PS/114Nm electric motor and the setup offers a claimed range of 315km.
