Kia has showcased the 2025 EV6 facelift at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi ahead of its launch in May. The electric crossover features a redesigned exterior, mildly updated interior, updated features, and increased battery capacity with longer range. Here is a close-up look at what is exactly new in the 2025 EV6.
The 2025 EV6 facelift introduces several changes, particularly to its front end. Kia has also slightly increased the length and front overhang for improved aesthetics. Coming back to the front end, the fascia boasts a sportier look with redesigned headlights and triangular daytime driving lights, referred to as ‘Star Map Signature Lighting‘. In fact, the front bumper has also been updated.
While the overall silhouette remains similar, the EV6 facelift is fitted with new alloy wheels ranging from 19- to 21-inches. At the back, the taillight cluster also gets a minor update.
Inside, the EV6 facelift retains much of its previous design but includes some little updates. It sports a new curved panel that houses the 12.3-inch driver display and 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new steering wheel, and an added fingerprint reader for biometric authentication.
The updated model comes with new features, such as a digital rearview mirror, an updated heads-up display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, augmented reality for navigation, a new 15W wireless phone charger, remote parking assist 2, over-the-air software updates, additional digital features and services via the Kia Connect Store, and digital key 2.0.
The 2025 EV6 now includes new ADAS functions, while carrying forward previous safety features, namely multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, and electronic stability control (ESC).
In terms of performance, the EV6 facelift comes equipped with a larger 84 kWh battery pack (up from 77 kWh), while the lower-end version gets an updated 63 kWh unit (up from 58 kWh). This upgrade has improved its range up to 650 km, as per WLTP. Power output stands at 325 PS and 605 Nm for the dual-motor all-wheel drive variant.
The EV6 facelift uses 800V charging technology, allowing new faster charging speeds up to 350 kW. With this, the battery can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes. It can provide up to 343 km of range in 15 minutes.
The price of the current EV6 starts at Rs 60.96 lakh (ex-showroom, and the upcoming facelifted EV6 is expected to be priced higher. That said, the electric crossover competes with the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Mercedes-Benz EQA, Volvo C40 Recharge, and BMW iX1.
