Audi Q8 e-tron reaches showroom floors.
It will be launched in the country on August 18.
Most of the styling revisions have been done to the front end.
Will be available in two variants: 50 and 55.
Both variants get larger battery packs, for a better claimed range.
Audi will still offer the new Q8 e-tron in two body styles: SUV and Sportback (SUV Coupe).
You can now check out the Audi Q8 e-tron in person, as the flagship electric vehicle has started reaching showroom floors. Bookings are yet to open ahead of its launch on August 18, 2023. The India-spec model is identical to the global units, save for the availability of the e-tron S trim, which has been skipped for our shores.
As part of the usual facelift treatment, the e-tron, now dubbed the Q8 e-tron, gets changes to its nose, which packs a new grille, above which is a strap of LED DRL connecting both headlights. The only change in profile are the new alloys and even the changes at the rear are hard to decipher. It is still available in two body styles: SUV and Sportback (SUV-coupe).

The sense of familiarity persists on the inside with a dashboard layout bombarded with screens, one each for the driver’s display, the infotainment, and the aircon controls. That said, the lack of physical knobs and buttons might make adjusting something rather simple a tedious task, especially on the move.

As mentioned, the e-tron S variant has been skipped for India. It offers less range but more power as it is a performance-oriented variant.

The new Audi Q e-tron is bound to carry a steeper price tag over the outgoing model which was sold from Rs 1.02 crore (ex-showroom), and the same will be confirmed at its launch on August 18. It’ll rival the BMW iX and Mercedes-Benz EQC.
