Audi India has announced the prices of its updated electric luxury SUV, the Q8 e-tron, which starts from Rs 1.14 crore (ex-showroom). It’s basically the facelifted e-tron with a new name, updated styling and mainly, larger battery packs. The Audi Q8 e-tron continues to come in two broad variants and two body styles: SUV and Sportback (SUV-coupe).
The Q8 e-tron now commands a premium of up to Rs 12 lakh over the outgoing model. Here’s a look at its variant-wise pricing:

The Audi Q8 e-tron gets a brand new grille with an LED lighting strip that connects both the Matrix LED headlights. It’s also the first model to get Audi’s cool new two-dimensional logo. A tweaked bumper rounds off the styling at the front. In profile, the changes are limited to the new alloys, while the rear gets a mildly revised bumper.

Things are quite similar to the pre-facelift e-tron on the inside which, in our books, isn’t a bad thing. You get not one or two, but three screens that light up from the expanse of gloss black plastics comprising the digital driver’s display, touchscreen infotainment system, and climate controls.

It does look uber cool, no doubt, but using this touch-only layout on the move will need a bit of getting used to. Thankfully, the e-tron gets voice command controls through which you can access a handful of features. Speaking of which…
Top features in the Audi e-tron include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four-zone climate control, a Bang and Olufsen sound system, ambient lighting, cruise control, park assist, powered front seats and a panoramic sunroof. Its safety is taken care of by multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and electronic stability control.
The Q8 e-tron continues to be offered in two variants: 50 and 55. with the main difference being the presence of larger battery packs, allowing you to go the extra distance. Audi says the electric powertrain will have a warranty of either eight years or 1.6 lakh km (whichever is earlier). Customers will also have free charging in Audi dealerships until the end of this year.
