BREAKING: This New EV Is Your Best ‘Buddie’ For The City

Nashik-based Revamp Moto has finally launched its RM Buddie 25 electric scooter in India at Rs 66,999 onwards. Pre-bookings have commenced on the company’s website for a token of Rs 999. 

The RM Buddie 25 looks like a perfect blend of utilitarian and urban electric scooter elements. It takes a minimalist design approach with the headlight integrated into either sides of the front apron and circular tail light. The highlight of the product is its modular design that allows you to choose from four different luggage options and even a child seat.

Revamp Moto is yet to share the technical specifications of the product; however, the Buddie goes up to a claimed top speed of 25kmph and comes with a 48V, 25Ah lithium-ion battery pack that has a range of 70km. It can be charged up to 80 percent in claimed 105 minutes, while a full charge takes an hour more.

The Buddie 25 features telescopic fork and dual shock suspension setup, while braking is handled by drum brakes on either ends. Revamp Moto has used 12-inch wheels at both ends which should translate to better handling on our roads.

The styling is minimalist, but the e-scooter packs a bunch of interesting features including smartphone connectivity and auto headlight on function. With the dedicated mobile app, you can keep a tab on the e-scooter’s ride stats and analytics. 

At Rs 66,999, the Revamp Moto RM Buddie 25 is a great alternative to the likes of the Detel EV Easy Plus and the Okinawa Dual 100 which are true-blue B2B EVs. But it is still time before these e-scooters take on the TVS XL100.
