Can hit 0-100kmph in 1.99 seconds with a top speed exceeding 400kmph.
Gets a sleek, minimalistic body, with slim headlights, cool alloy wheels and swanky connected tail lamps.
The entire cabin is made out of sustainable materials.
Only 99 units will be made, with deliveries commencing in 2025.
Those who haven’t heard of Deus Automobiles, it's understandable as the Austrian-based carmaker was only established in 2020. And it certainly grabbed eyeballs at the opening day of the 2022 New York Motor Show, by unveiling the Vayanne electric hypercar. And this new player in the EV hypercar space isn’t here to fool around. In fact, it's set to upset the pecking order a bit.
Being an EV hypercar let's get down to the juiciest bit which is under the hood. Vayanne is capable of making a whopping 2,200PS of grunt and over 2,000Nm of twist. If that’s not enough, it can sprint to 100kmph from a standstill in just 1.99 seconds and can top out at speeds over 400kmph. But there’s one small catch in all this. These figures are predicted according to the carmaker, and we’re yet to get the detailed specifications of what exactly this electric powertrain setup is.
Fortunately, these predicted figures don’t seem concerning as the Deus Vayanne’s got big names involved behind the scenes, with Italdesign and none other than Williams Advanced Engineering. Yes, it's the same entity related to the Williams Racing Formula One team, so we can be confident that the Vayanne will sport some interesting performance trickery.
For a hypercar boasting such stratospheric figures, it looks quite sleek, and minimalistic on the outside, which is nice compared to the incredibly aero-cluttered speed demons we see today. The sleek headlight setup, swanky alloy wheels as well as a futuristic rear where the tail lamps wrap around the entire rear end make for an exotic hypercar.
As ‘green’ as the Dayanee is under the hood, the same can be said for the cabin, as all of it is made out of sustainable materials. That aside, it's got a cool layout with a racy steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment system, and a snazzy ambient lighting layout.
Sure, the Deus Vayanne showcased isn’t the final production-spec model, but it certainly looks close to one. It’ll also be quite the exclusive offering with the electric hypercar being limited to 99 units. Unfortunately, it's going to be a very long wait for those wanting to get their hands on it, as first deliveries will commence in 2025.
