Fisker has showcased its future vehicle line-up at the company’s first product vision day. The electric carmaker revealed four vehicles along with its technology and sustainability objective. The event took place at Huntington Beach, USA and the audience consisted of analysts, media, investors and Fisker employees.
At the event, Fisker Chairman and CEO Henrik revealed the four models - Ocean SUV with a Force-E off-road package, PEAR city EV, Alaska electric pick-up truck and the Ronin four-door convertible.
The Ronin is an all-electric four-door convertible GT. It can seat five occupants and comes with a carbon fibre hard top. It sports a unique futuristic design with curvy shape and quad butterfly doors. The Ronin will be positioned as a luxury vehicle and hence Fisker plans to manufacture only limited units.
The Ronin is powered by a triple motor setup that pushes out in excess of 1,000 PS. This enables the car to do a 0-100 km/h sprint in 2 seconds. Fisker claims a range of 960 km on a full charge thanks to its integrated battery pack.
PEAR stands for Personal Electric Automotive Revolution. The PEAR is nothing but a connected mobility device that aims to stand out from the crowd in the lifestyle vehicle segment. It is built on the Fisker SLV-1 platform with Steel++ development process. Thanks to this, Fisker claims a reduction in parts by 35 percent compared to other similar vehicles.
The PEAR can seat upto six people with features like a Houdini Trunk (hideaway tailgate), wraparound windscreen, slim LED lights and the Frunk (front storage space). The compact size of the PEAR will make it a boon to drive in the city. Fisker has priced the car from US$ 29,900 (Rs 24.74 lakh) with four trims and deliveries scheduled in mid 2025.
The Alaska is a dual-cab pickup truck. It is based on the FT31 platform, which is nothing but an extension of the Fisker Ocean’s underpinnings. It features an innovative extendable cargo bed from 4.5 feet all the way upto 9.2 feet. The pickup’s divider can also be removed which connects the bed with the cabin.
Fisker is targeting a delivery date sometime in 2025 with a starting price of US$ 45,400 (Rs37.56 lakh). The carmaker claims a range around 370-550 km with the Alaska offering similar sporty handling as the Ocean SUV.
This is nothing but an add-on for the Ocean SUV. It enhances the off-road capabilities of the SUV by maximising the car’s torque, power and range. The Force-E is offered in two packages - Ultra and Extreme and can be availed at the time of purchase as well as at a later time.
Specific add-ons include 20-inch rims fitted with 33-inch tyres, enhanced ground clearance, roof basket, specialised dampers, skid plates at front and back, and a durable underbody plate. These will be available to customers in the first quarter of 2024. Prices are yet to be announced.
Closer to home, Fisker will bring 100 units of the Ocean SUV to India. You can find more details about it in this story.
