Godawari Electric Motors, creators of the Eblu range of electric two- and three-wheelers, has introduced the Eblu Feo, an e-Scooter that it pegs as one for the whole Indian family. This marks the company's entry into the EV two-wheeler sector in the country. Pre-bookings for the Eblu Feo began on 15th August 2023, with deliveries commencing on 23rd August 2023. The vehicle, priced at Rs 99,999, will be available in a single variant.
While the company claims the Feo is India’s first family electric scooter, it doesn’t have any underseat storage space, thus beating the purpose of getting a family scooter. The entirety of the underseat, instead, is utilised by the ginormous battery pack.
The Eblu Feo's key highlights encompass a 2.52kWh Li-ion battery generating 110Nm of peak torque at the wheel, three ride modes, a 110km range on a single charge, and a top speed of 60 kmph.
The scooter comes in five colours, is suspended on a telescopic front suspension and twin shock absorbers, has dual disc brakes, and 12-inch interchangeable tubeless tyres. Its features list comprises LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, Bluetooth connectivity, a wide floorboard, cubby holes, a mobile charging point, and a 7.4-inch digital full-colour display.
The Eblu Feo comes with a home charger with a 15A capacity, which requires 5 hours and 25 minutes for a full charge. The company offers a 3-year, 30,000 km warranty and financing partnerships with leading institutions.

According to Hyder Khan, CEO of Godawari Electric Motors, the Eblu Feo's design emphasises comfort, performance, and safety. Khan stated, "Eblu Feo has been designed from scratch at the company's Raipur facility and features a timeless design… a blend of performance and safety with great value for money price." However, we have seen a fair number of similarly stylised and feature-packed electric scooters in the Indian EV space, almost all of which have traces to China.
Also, it’s prudent to note that the Feo is, in fact, not the first of its kind. There are several other family-oriented e-scooters in the Indian market, including the TVS iQube S, Ola S1 Air, Bajaj Chetak and even something more accessible like the Bounce Infinity E1 -- all of which are quite practical and are feature-packed.
