July has been a really rewarding and exciting month for us in the auto industry with major launches like the Triumph Speed 400 and Harley-Davidson X440. However, this excitement is not going anywhere, because August has a lot to offer us with new bikes and scooters, and a couple of EVs as well.
Hero is all set to revive its most iconic bike in an all-new liquid-cooled avatar. Called the Karizma XMR 210, the upcoming bike will make for Hero’s flagship bike, and here are all the details. Slated for launch on August 29, the Karizma XMR 210 is expected to come bearing a price tag of Rs 1.75 lakh ex-showroom.
Ather 450X is getting a more affordable variant called the 450S. Apart from getting a smaller 3kWh battery pack, the upcoming e-scooter comes bearing fewer features like an LED console and turn-by-turn navigation instead of Google Maps-based navigation.
After a bunch of spy shots and a whole lot of anticipation, Royal Enfield is finally set to launch the 2023 Bullet 350 in a new avatar, based on the J-series platform. It is set to launch on August 31, and is likely to get a sticker price of Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
After promises of TVS iQube ST, which seems to be on hold indefinitely, TVS is all set to launch a sporty new electric scooter, something likely to be based on the Creon concept showcased earlier. The launch is slated for August 23, and you can head here for more speculations on what the upcoming two-wheeler might be.
If you ever wanted a more retro-looking electric scooter, then Ola Electric has heard you, because this month the EV maker is likely to launch a classic variant of the S1 Pro e-scooter. It could get a bunch of retro accessories including a tall visor and pillion backrest.
This month will also bring us a sporty Honda bike. While the information is still unclear, we believe that the upcoming bike could be a sportier version of the Honda Unicorn. Something similar to what Honda has done with the SP 125, which is just a sportier version of the Honda Shine 125.
