With as many as 12 new or updated two-wheelers making their way to the Indian market, June has kept us busy but we’re not complaining! So if this month has been a blur for you too, here’s a quick lowdown on all the bikes and scooters we saw this month:
Ather launched the 450S, its most affordable scooter, this month. While the performance and features haven’t been tampered with, a smaller battery pack means its range has gone down. Check out what we mean here.
The baby Ninja, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 saw a minor update this month, something that makes it look a lot more like the Ninja 400 and the Ninja ZX-10R! Here’s what we mean.
Hero updated its trusty commuter, the HF Deluxe, making it greener and cleaner for a price hike that was less than the average cost of a movie ticket. Here’s how much the updated bike costs now.
Next, the brand brought back its iconic commuter, the Passion Plus. While it’s more feature-packed, it's also quite a pricey proposition now.
But one bike that we were really looking forward to from Hero was the Xtreme 160R 4V and the brand finally launched it this month. With more power, better hardware, features and a lot more, how much better is it in the real world? Find that out in our review.
Suzuki India’s entire lineup is now OBD 2-compliant. While some of the scooters and bikes were already updated, this time it was the V-Strom SX, the Gixxer 250cc series (comprising the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250), and the Burgman Street EX’ turn. Know more about the cleaner engine they received, at no extra price.
Bajaj updated the NS160 and the NS200, giving the sporty bikes a new Pewter Grey paint scheme. Here’s a closer look at it.
Honda had a whole bunch of updates in store for us this month. First was the sporty Dio, which also got the H-Smart treatment. Here’s how much it costs now.
Next for the Japanese bikemaker was an update to its popular 160cc commuter, the Unicorn. Apart from a cleaner engine, though, the bike remains largely unchanged.
And finally it was the Honda Shine. Along with an OBD2-compliant engine, Honda is also offering an interesting 10-year warranty package for this high-selling 125cc bike. Check that out here.
The KTM 200 Duke got a minor upgrade for 2023, one that now makes it look even more similar to the KTM 390 Duke. Here’s how that happened.
The updated Triumph Street Triple lineup impressed us a lot when we rode it and this month both the bikes finally made their way to India. And as is with most Triumph bikes, pricing for both has been absolutely spot-on! Here’s how much both cost now.
