It’s offered in a single GT Line trim level in RWD (rear-drive) and AWD (all-wheel-drive) variaints.
Offers around 500km of range (708km ARAI) and ultra-fast charging capabilities.
Its chief rivals are the Volvo XC40 Recharge and BMW i4.
The next 2023 batch of Kia EV6 electric vehicles (EVs) is up for grabs now. The carmaker today reopened the order books for the next 2023 batch of EV6 units. The EV6 is imported in the form of completely built-up units (CBUs) in small numbers allocated a few times each year. It’s the flagship vehicle in Kia’s lineup in India and one of the longest-range EVs you can buy right now.
The Kia EV6 is offered in a single, fully-loaded GT Line trim level in two variants, GT Line RWD (rear-wheel drive) and GT Line AWD (all-wheel drive).
EV Variant |
Ex-showroom price |
Kia EV6 GT Line RWD |
Rs 60.95 lakh |
Kia EV6 GT Line AWD |
Rs 65.95 lakh |
All prices are ex-showroom, pan-India
For the first 200 buyers of the forthcoming batch of EV6 EVs, Kia is offering some additional benefits, including the following:
Free periodic maintenance for five years
Battery warranty: eight years or 1.6 lakh km, whichever comes first.
95 percent buyback policy within 30 days
The EV6 is a sharp-looking, segment-bending EV that’s based on the Hyundai Group’s dedicated electric platform, the E-GMP architecture (shared with the Hyundai Ioniq 5). It’s powered by a 77.4kWh battery pack good for up to around 500km of range (708km ARAI-claimed) with ultra-fast charging capabilities as well as V2L (vehicle-to-load), the ability to power external appliances or EVs such as electric bicycles.

In terms of power, the RWD variant has a 229PS, rear-mounted e-motor; and the AWD gets a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system that makes 325PS combined.
Features are aplenty, including a large sliding sunroof, powered tailgate, dual 12.3-inch displays for driver’s instrumentation and infotainment, an augmented-reality heads-up display (HUD) and a 14-speaker Meridian sound system. For safety, the EV6 gets multiple airbags and a full suite of driver-assistance features including lane-keeping assist and forward collision avoidance.
The Kia EV6 rivals the Volvo XC40 Recharge, BMW i4 and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV. It can be ordered at the carmaker’s dealerships and touch points as well as online on the official Kia India website.
