Kia India has announced a recall for the EV6, the Korean brand’s flagship electric vehicle on our shores. 1,138 units of the EV6, manufactured between March 3, 2022 and April 14, 2023, have been affected on our shores. The reason for the recall is due to a potential fault in the EV6’s Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU). 

Kia EV6 Recall: More Details 

Kia India says that a probable fault in the EV6’s ICCU could affect its 12V auxiliary battery. As a result, the Korean marque will be updating the software of the affected part so owners don’t face any issues.

Post that, they will need to schedule an appointment at their nearest Kia dealership, where the software update will be done at no cost.
