Offer applicable for new and existing customers but only for CCS charger types.
The Public Charging Tariff will come into effect from April 1.
To avail these offers, you’ll need to download the Fortum Charge & Drive India’s app.
The MG ZS EV currently retails from Rs 21.49 lakh and Rs 25.18 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The electric SUV is slated to get a facelift soon.
Those who own or are considering buying the MG ZS electric SUV are in for a treat this March. The carmaker, in collaboration with Fortum Charge & Drive, is offering charging services free of charge for the SUV. But there’s certain conditions to be met.
Firstly, this offer will only last until the end of March, with the Public Charging Tariff coming into effect from the start of the new financial year on April 1. Also, this offer is only applicable to CCS charger types. To avail of these offers, ZS EV customers need to install the Fortum Charge & Drive India’s app.
For the MG ZS EV, we’ve got a 7.4kW charger (can be installed at your home or office) that can give a 100 percent charge in six to eight hours, as well as a portable charger that takes around 18-19 hours for a full charge. There’s also the option of 50kW DC fast chargers at certain MG dealerships that can juice up the electric SUV from 0 to 80 percent in less than 50 minutes.
The ZS EV is powered by a 143PS electric motor, and is coupled with a 44.5kWh battery pack to offer up to 419km of claimed range on a single charge.
It currently retails from Rs 21.49 lakh and Rs 25.18 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This might be the last offer we see in the MG ZS EV before the facelifted model shows up sometime later in 2022. Prices are likely to start from Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and should rekindle its rivalry with the Hyundai Kona Electric. It will also be a premium alternative to the Tata Nexon EV.
