Pune-based Tork Motors is one of the few two-wheeler brands participating at the Auto Expo 2023. The company has now revealed its plans for the Delhi auto show, with a new electric motorcycle taking the limelight at their stand, accompanied by the refreshed Kratos R 2023.
In our recent conversation with Tork Motors’ founder and CEO, Kapil Shelke, we got to understand that the new e-motorcycle from the company will be a more premium version of the Kratos. This new product will pack more features and be more powerful than the existing bike, something closer to the original T6X that was unveiled a few years ago.
Shelke also said that the battery pack between the two products would be shared, which could mean slight reduction in range. However, in all likelihood, the company might have managed to increase the efficiency of the powertrain so that the range remains unaffected.
The 2023 iteration of the Kratos will sport a few cosmetic updates, including a blacked-out battery pack to give the motorcycle a more premium appeal. Furthermore, the fast charger would now be offered as a part of the standard equipment.
The Tork Kratos and the Kratos R will be receiving a price hike January 2023 onwards, with the effective prices standing at Rs 1,32,499 and Rs 1,47,499, respectively (ex-showroom Maharashtra, after FAME-2 and State subsidies). With the upcoming model, we expect a slight price revision.
