The MG Cyberster is the first all-electric two-door convertible roadster from the English carmaker that will debut on our Indian shores. It has been seen for the first time on the Indian roads in Mumbai city after its showcase at the Auto Expo 2025. We can see the car in the English White colour with the red top.
It will be retailed through the brand’s premium dealership channel called ‘MG Select’. Reportedly, the Cyberster is also expected to carry the battery rental scheme called BaaS (Battery As A Service) which could also position it as the most affordable sportscar in India.
MG Cyberster Overview
The MG Cyberster features a sharp and sleek profile with swept-back LED headlights, large 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, scissor doors, arrow-shaped LED taillights, and a fabric rooftop.
Inside, the cabin looks futuristic with a driver-focused dashboard, incorporating dual screens for the digital driver’s display, a third screen for infotainment, and a fourth screen for the centre console. Other features include 6-way electrically adjustable heated seats with a memory function and an 8-speaker Bose audio system. For safety, it is equipped with six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and several ADAS features.
The India-spec Cyberster comes with a dual-motor setup, a 77 kWh battery, and an all-wheel-drive option. It delivers an impressive 510 PS and 725 Nm of torque, making it sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. The WLTP-claimed range stands at 443 km.
The Cyberster is expected to launch in March, with pre-bookings already underway. If it adopts the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, pricing could be around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an electric rival to the BMW Z4.
The Cyberster will be available in four colour options, and spotting it in the English White hue on Mumbai roads feels like a modern-day sportster given a vintage touch. That said, which shade would you prefer – English White or something among Cosmic Silver, Inca Yellow, or Dynamic Red? Let us know in the comments!
