Upcoming Tata Concept Electric SUV Shows A Bit More Skin In New Teaser Video

Tata has given us another glimpse at its upcoming concept electric SUV in a new teaser video. It’s a sequel to the Tata Electric short video teaser from last week, and the carmaker has now confirmed that its upcoming EV is an SUV. It’ll be fully unveiled on April 6, and you can get a look at its design cues in the video below: 

Similar to the existing Harrier and Punch, Tata’s concept electric SUV will feature split headlamps. The LED lights at the top run across the width of the front fascia, and even the bonnet crease features lighting elements. It appears that instead of outer rearview mirrors, the concept SUV has rear-facing cameras. 

We also get a good look at its coupe-esque, downward sloping roofline. The paintwork is a brilliant blue colour that reminds us of the Nexon EV’s Signature Teal Blue. In another shot, we get a blurry peek at the alloy wheels that feature an aerodynamic design.

Unfortunately, some of the design cues, vents and surfaces are hard to discern for now, and we’ll have to wait until the full reveal to make sense of them. It’s not clear at this point if the concept will spawn a production vehicle, or when that production-spec EV could be available.
